Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for MeltsWell subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers.

2. Free trial

New creators receive a 3-month free trial upon profile approval. No credit card is required to start. You can use the trial with no charge and no obligation to subscribe. If you do not subscribe, your profile is simply hidden after the trial ends and your data is retained until you choose to reactivate.

3. Subscription plans

MeltsWell offers two paid plans: Starter ($14.99/month) and Growth ($29.99/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars. Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard settings. There are no cancellation fees. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and your profile remains live until then. You will not be charged again after you cancel.

5. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, but we do not issue prorated refunds for unused time.

We will issue a refund in these cases:

  • You were charged because of a clear billing error on our side, such as a duplicate charge
  • You were charged after cancelling correctly and before the next renewal
  • A refund is required by the consumer protection law that applies to you

If you believe you qualify, email hello@meltswell.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review it promptly.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry. If the payment is not resolved, your profile may be hidden until the subscription is reinstated. Your data is retained during this time.

7. Price changes

We may update pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
