Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time, such as staying signed in. Some technologies that work like cookies, including browser local storage, are covered by this policy as well.
This policy explains which cookies MeltsWell uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It applies to meltswell.com and all creator profile pages we host. MeltsWell is operated by Node and Scale LLC.
2. How we use cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies. We use only two categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for core features such as signing in and keeping your session secure. The site cannot work properly without these.
- Analytics: help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. These are anonymous and do not identify you personally.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Clerk | Keeps you signed in and secures your authenticated session. Set when you sign in. | Strictly necessary |
| Analytics cookie | PostHog | Measures anonymous usage such as page views and feature engagement. Contains no personally identifiable information. | Analytics |
Our payment provider, Stripe, may set cookies during checkout to prevent fraud and process payments securely. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.
4. Analytics and privacy
We use PostHog for product analytics. Engagement events such as profile views, WhatsApp taps, and coupon reveals are captured anonymously. We do not store visitor names, email addresses, or IP addresses in our analytics. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
5. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers let you block all cookies, delete existing ones, or be warned before a cookie is stored. Look in the privacy or security section of your browser settings.
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using your creator dashboard. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect how the platform works for you.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MeltsWell after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
