Acceptable Use & Content Guidelines

1. Purpose

These guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on MeltsWell. They apply to everything you post, including your business name, profile, product photos, descriptions, prices, coupons, and links. They form part of our Terms of Service. By using MeltsWell, you agree to follow them.

2. Who can have a profile

MeltsWell is for legitimate food creators only, such as home bakers, chocolatiers, pastry makers, and similar sweet-food businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about your business.

3. What you may post

• Photos of your own products that you have the rights to use
• Honest descriptions, prices, and availability
• Accurate business information and contact details
• Coupons and offers you intend to honor

4. What you may not post

You agree not to post content that:

• Belongs to someone else, including photos or branding you do not have the rights to
• Is misleading, false, or designed to deceive customers about a product or price
• Is offensive, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or discriminatory
• Promotes illegal goods, drugs, alcohol to minors, weapons, or any unlawful activity
• Is unrelated to food, or is spam, or links to malicious or unrelated sites
• Impersonates another business, person, or brand
• Violates food safety, labeling, licensing, or business regulations in your location
• Infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights

5. Platform conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform itself. This includes attempting to manipulate the leaderboard or score system, creating fake engagement, using bots or automated scraping, accessing accounts that are not yours, or interfering with the security or operation of MeltsWell.

6. Food safety is your responsibility

MeltsWell does not prepare, inspect, or sell food. You are solely responsible for the safety, quality, labeling, and allergen information of your products, and for complying with all food safety and business laws in your location. See our Food Safety Disclaimer for more.

7. Enforcement

We may review, modify, hide, or remove any content that breaks these guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them, without refund. Where appropriate, we may report illegal activity to the authorities.
